Basic Principle of Balancing Machines

ISO 1940 is the standard of balancing, which is recognized worldwide. There are 11 level of balancing with the increment of 2.5 times. Balancing Machines, in g-mm/kg, represents the value of imbalanced mass at the radius of rotor in relation to the total weight of rotor, as well as the eccentricity of the imbalance in relation to the center of rotor.

The level of Balancing Machines is defined by ISO1940 as follows:

G = (rpm x imbalance (g-mm)) / (9549 x rotor mass (kg))
*9549 = constant

CHUMPOWER has been using the Balancing Machines analyzer of highly recognized Haimer since 2007 in order to meet market demands and special requirements of clients. The basic Balancing Machines is G6.3 8000RPM. For special requirements, such as G6.3 25000 RPM or G2.5 25000 RPM, measurements can be made using the Balancing Machines analyzer before work pieces are made to clients’ requirements.

However, Balancing Machines cannot be measured on some of the tool holders, such as Chu CNC Drill ChucksHex Key Drill Chuck, since the place on the chuck where the ball bearings are located is constantly located in a movable space. This results in wobbling measurements when measuring Balancing Machines. Without accurate measurements.
